From the 50s, with monochromatic colors do not become outdated and create a timeless sense. The interior of the apartment was completely destroyed and the space has been redesigned in accordance with a program tailored to the needs of the new tenants.

    12-Micron, draws on the colours and tones of the spotted gum with an irresistible palette of dusky pink furniture, muted grey stone, blond timber tables, bark-like leathers and earthy tableware. The idea of the spotted gum’s rougher texture has also been introduced “through leathered finished granite as well as loose fit leather sofas and banquets with ruffled detailing.”

    12-Micron, draws on the colours and tones of the spotted gum with an irresistible palette of dusky pink furniture, muted grey stone, blond timber tables, bark-like leathers and earthy tableware. The idea of the spotted gum’s rougher texture has also been introduced “through leathered finished granite as well as loose fit leather sofas and banquets with ruffled detailing.” Actual spotted gum has been planted throughout for rich tonal nuance, while colourful native arrangements of wattle, bottlebrush and banksia brighten the room.

    The revival of an Elsternwick residence has allowed award-winning Melbourne practice Mim Design to create a stunning internal transformation of a historic Edwardian home. The owners of DRF Residence, a young family of four, wanted to turn their home, which was dark with cramped unusable spaces, into a modern sanctuary that paid homage to the era’s architectural styling.

Veech x Veech’s solution was to create a terraced landscape with strategically positioned sculptures in each zone.

    Israeli architect Pitsou Kedem has updated an apartment in the ancient port of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, adding arched windows and door frames that echo the form of the traditional vaulted ceilings. The building is located in the oldest part of the Israeli city and Pitsou Kedem's studio was tasked with refurbishing its interior to create spaces suited to modern life, but that retain the character of the original architecture. The apartment's rooms were added to and adjusted over hundreds of years, resulting in a series of dark and cluttered spaces with varying floor heights.
